Using the Swarm Desk
The Swarm Desk is where a goal becomes a crew. This is how to get good work out of it.
Writing a brief
A brief is three things:
- The deliverable. What exists when the job is done? A page, a memo, a table, a plan.
- The context. Who it is for, what you already know, what to avoid.
- The bar. How you will judge it: length, tone, sources required, must-haves.
Examples
| Kind | Brief |
|---|---|
| Research | Compare three note-taking apps for small agencies. Price, strengths, risks, with sources. |
| Build | A one-page site for a weekend bakery pop-up with a menu and an order form. |
| Launch | A two-week launch plan for a budgeting app aimed at students. |
Watching the run
The desk shows the crew the coordinator picked, then each agent's task and output as it streams in. The reviewer always goes last and says what it checked and what it changed.
Keeping the work
Every output can be copied or downloaded as a file. The full relay log downloads as one document, so you can see how the result was reached.
When the desk says "not configured"
Live runs need the site operator to connect a model provider. Until that is done the desk says so plainly and shows a labelled sample run instead, so you can see how a job moves without anything pretending to be live.
Limits
- 6 agents and 40 steps per job at most.
- Runs are rate-limited per visitor to keep the service fair.
- Work credits are charged at launch; the preview does not charge anything.
